Mr. A.M.Jawaamil

Managing Partner (Group) – Jawaamil Group

Mr. A.M. Jawaamil is the founder of the core entities comprising the Jawaamil Group, including Jawaamil Associates, JSA Associates, and J & A Management Systems (Pvt) Ltd. In 2013, the Group strategically acquired a stake in LM Associates—a prestigious audit firm established in 1949—where he now serves as Managing Partner.

He began his professional journey in 1987 as a Government Accountant and established Jawaamil Associates soon after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Building on decades of experience, he went on to launch J & A Management Systems in 2001 and JSA Associates in 2008, expanding the group’s footprint across audit, tax, and business consulting.

A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), Mr. Jawaamil also contributes actively to the profession through roles in the Advisory Commission of Company Law, the Taxation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and the Taxation and Law Committee of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants. His broader vision includes active engagement with internationally affiliated NGOs and social development communities.
